Privacy policy

Last updated 10 August 2026.

Snooker Analytics is a small, personally-run project. This page explains what data it collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email contact@snookeranalytics.com.

If you join the waitlist

The landing page lets you leave an email address to be notified when fully editable access launches. That's the only thing it's used for — one email, sent once, when it's ready.

  • What's collected: your email address and the time you submitted it. Nothing else.
  • Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box next to the form.
  • Retention: kept until the launch email is sent, or until you ask for it to be deleted sooner.
  • Sharing: never shared, sold, or used for anything beyond that one email.

If you sign in to the app

The app itself (match tracking, head-to-head stats, training log, focus) is invite-only and requires Google sign-in.

  • What's collected: the name, email, and profile photo Google provides on sign-in, plus whatever match/training/focus data you or the account owner enter into the app.
  • Legal basis:providing the service to an account you've been personally invited to use.
  • Retention: kept for as long as your account has access. Ask via email to have it removed.
  • Sharing:never shared or sold. Read-only accounts see sample data, not real player names — see the app's access notes for detail.

Who processes this data

Infrastructure providers that host and run the app, all under their own privacy terms:

  • Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication and database storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Resend — sending the launch-notification and account emails mentioned above.

No third-party analytics, ad trackers, or marketing tools are used anywhere on this site.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete any data held about you at any time — email contact@snookeranalytics.com and it'll be handled directly, no automated process to navigate.

Children

This site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect data from them.
